Artist comment:  "This beautiful shiny black crow was meandering in a field of daisies, searching for grasshoppers, crickets et.al. Suddenly spotting a human with a camera, it poised momentarily to glance up as if to say; 'Don't bother me, and I won't bother you'. Then it hopped off a few yards to continue its tiptoe path through the daisies. The gouache painting in green and white sets off the coal blackness of the crow."

"Tiptoe In The Daisy Field" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original gouache painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is March 2009.  Image size and substrates vary.   All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"Tiptoe In The Daisy Field" ACEO

"Tiptoe In The Daisy Field" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original gouache painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 2 1/2” X 3 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is March 2009. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
