"With a blur of it's wings and a decided flight path, a crow takes off toward its' next destination. Ready, Set, Go!"
ARTIST COMMENT
"Number three in a series on crows, I wanted to depict the bird in flight. By smudging the area at the top of its wings, the motion is indicated. With the forward looking eye and the feet hanging down, you know it has just launched itself and is beating the air furiously to achieve lift. Because of the implied movement, I chose to keep the background simple: almost abstract, leaving a large amount of space for the bird to 'fly' into."
