"A yellow Swallowtail butterfly has settled on a leaf of a rhododendron."

Artist comment:  "I am captivated by butterflies and moths. One lovely summer day a yellow Swallowtail fluttered by me to take up a place on a leaf of my rhody. It stayed long enough for me to grab my camera and photograph it, its delicate wings extended to catch the full sun. Later in my studio, I made a gouache painting to capture that momentary delight."

"At Ease Among The Leaves" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original gouache painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is February 2009.  Image size and substrates vary.   All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.
