Artist comment:  "I had a lot of fun painting these onions in a basket.  I saw them at a farmer's market and was captivatd by the composition.  I used pastel on a warm toned sheet of Mi-Teintes paper.  I had a large onion on my painting taboret, and actually purchased a 'red' onion to study for accuracy."

"A Basket Of Onions ACEO"

"A Basket Of Onions" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original pastel painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 3 1/2” X 2 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is February 2010. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
