Artist comment:  "This painting depicts the ultimate wave action.  The water rises in swells, and tumbles in several places at the same time.  Foam patterns glide across the surface of the sea.  You can almost feel the mist as a breeze lifts the tips of splashing water and sends it drifting into the air.  It is a typical clear day on the Pacific coast of southern Oregon, or northern California.  I originally began this painting as a demonstration to a local art group and completed it in my studio later.  I'm very excited about the way it turned out."

"Turbulent Water" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is January 2001.  Image size and substrates vary.  All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.
