Artist comment:  "Sometimes the sea takes on the color of the clear blue sky. This is one such moment. I emphasized the blues and created a unified feeling that is soothing and restful. The kind of day when you want to stay at the beach all day long."

"The Blue Sea" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is April 2009.  Image size and substrates vary.  All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"The Blue Sea" ACEO Diptych

"The Blue Sea" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” diptych giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson.   Image sizes are 2 1/2” X 3 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO).   Release date is April 2009. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks.  The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO diptych is signed by the artist, includes signed certificates of authenticity, and is packaged in plastic sleeves for protection.
