| Artist comment:
"This small pastel painting on Canson Mi-Teintes paper, is a study in minimalism. To accent the silhouette of the lighthouse at Yaquina Head, near Newport, Oregon, I used a dark brown and overshaded it with deep red. The only other colors are yellow and white. The overall result is dramatic in its simplicity. That day was very memorable. The sunset seemed to last for a long, long time, and I took advantage of the glory to photograph and sketch and make notes. This is just one of those paintable scenes from my volume of research on that day." |

"Last Light" is a limited edition, giclée
print from an original pastel painting by Carol Thompson. The edition
includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered
and 100 artist proofs). Release date is September 2001. Image size and substrates
vary.
All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.
Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"Last Light" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original pastel painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 3 1/2” X 2 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is September 2001. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints. This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
