Artist comment: "This is a medium-large oil painting of a sunset that I was privileged to observe as I stood at the edge of the sea on the Oregon coast. Although it is not a particular location, it is typical of the rugged coastline of the northern shore of the state. It was a wonderful challenge to capture the hues that cannot be recorded by a camera; i.e., the subtle greens and reflected blues, the graduated colors in the sky; as well as the diminishing shades of the receding headlands. I paid careful attention to the reflective quality of the wet beach." |

"Changing Light" is a limited edition, giclée
print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson. The edition
includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered
and 100 artist proofs). Release date is November 2010. Image size and substrates
vary.
All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.
Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray. |
