| Artist comment:
"What could be more enjoyable than watching a sunset fill the scene with vibrant evening color? Well, for me, this was a magical moment. With sketch book in hand, I hastily made notes and quick reference drawings, before turning once again to watch the awesome beauty unfold before me. Later, in my studio, I painted this watercolor on 140# Arches hot-pressed watercolor paper. The cool pinks, greens and purples of the sky, headlands and water, play up the deep rich brown in the foreground rocks. As is my custom, I employed a "Z" composition to keep the viewer's eye moving easily through the picture." |

includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered
and 100 artist proofs). Release date is April 1999. Image size and substrates
vary.
All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.
Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"From Ecola At Sunset" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” diptych giclée print from an original watercolor painting by Carol Thompson. Image sizes are 2 1/2” X 3 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is April 1999. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints. This ACEO diptych is signed by the artist, includes signed certificates of authenticity, and is packaged in plastic sleeves for protection.
