| Artist comment:
"The Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach, Oregon, is so very large, that people strolling along the seashore, seem to be miniatures from a doll house. The only thing that can tame the huge monolith is the immensity of the cloud filled sky. My technique is to employ warm against cool for drama, as I did with the color of the brown rock against the cold blue sky. For balance I made the reflection of the rock weave across the water and wet sand in the foreground. This scene is one I return to again and again. |

print from an original watercolor painting by Carol Thompson. The edition
includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered
and 100 artist proofs). Release date is August 2002. Image size and substrates
vary.
All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board. Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"Cannon Beach Stroll" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original watercolor painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 3 1/2” X 2 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is August 2002. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints. This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
