Artist comment:  "One perfect spring day when our son, David, was a boy, we spent a wonderful day at the sea shore along the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State.  The scene was so compelling I was anxious to paint it.  With oil on canvas, I sketched the scene, then proceeded to paint first the sky, then the background cliffs, the rocks and sea, finishing with the sand and forground rocks.  The best part was the figure in the foreground, with the basic primary colors, of a young lad doing his favorite thing."

"Beachcomber" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is April 2011.  Image size and substrates vary.  All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.
