"It is late afternoon on a winter day. As the tide changes in its' relentless ebb and flow, the clouds begin to catch the glow of the last rays of sunlight. So another day comes to an end along the Pacific Coast."

 
Artist comment:  "I painted this moody piece to show the power of a storm building on the horizon. Already the wind is kicking up the surf and driving it against the rugged rocks offshore. I incorporated several depths of dark clouds to enhance the ominous feeling of foreboding. I can visualize a lightning strike at any moment that will flash across the lowering sky."

"Along The Pacific Coast" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson.   Image size is 2 1/2” X 3 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO).   Release date is March 2009. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks.  The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
