ARTIST COMMENT
My first visit to Hawaii was an incredible adventure. I saw the mountains and the "surfers" waves. I saw a waterspout created far out at sea, and a rainbow crowning the city of Honolulu. I experienced awe inspiring sunrises and sunsets. Then, I painted the memories. The tropical islands seem to have captured nature's most vibrant colors for their exclusive designs. With soft pastel on high quality Canson Mi Teintes paper, I recreated those luminous colors of a tropical sunset. Each time I look at the limited edition print of this painting, I am swept away, again to hear the Hawaiian guitars and chanting harmonious voices of the "Islands". How about you?
