Artist comment: "This is a pastel painting on Canson Mi-Teintes ligthtly textured paper. First, I sketched the subject on, then proceeded to paint the background (I was intrigued by the contrast of warm against cool). The details of it's chest and pouch were a fun challenge. And, I especially like the bright mossy green on the piling.” |

"Pelican On A Piling" is a limited edition, giclée
print from an original pastel painting by Carol Thompson. The edition
includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered
and 100 artist proofs). Release date is January 2011. Image size and substrates
vary.
All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.
Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray. |
