"A solitary gull is poised at the edge of a dock. We look down upon it in anticipation of its impending flight out over the murky water of the bay."

 
Artist comment:  "I have long been intrigued by the Pacific coastal seagulls. Their poses and attitudes are an ongoing inspiration to me. The gull depicted here is seen on the rough boards of a dock, somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. Looking down, you can observe the coloration of its back and wing feathers. I chose this view because it offered the opportunity to show a seagull from another perspective."

"Back To Nature" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original gouache painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is February 2009.  Image size and substrates vary.   All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"Back To Nature" ACEO

"Back To Nature" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original gouache painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 2 1/2” X 3 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is February 2009. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
