"Marrowstone Point Light"

"A small compact building, topped with a high intensity light stands on a point of land in Puget Sound, Washington.   'Marrowstone Point Light' is a valuable aid to navigation during foggy, stormy or clear weather; day or night, year in and year out."

 ARTIST COMMENT
"I visited the Marrowstone Point Lighthouse on a warm sunny day, when very few visitors were there.  The sunlight on the bright building that houses the foghorn and light, were exceptional, begging me to paint the scene with gouache.  The view is from the beach, looking North on Admiralty Inlet, one of Washington State's great inland waterways."
