"Lime Kiln Lighthouse"

"Situated on a low rocky bluff on San Juan Island in Puget Sound between Washington State and Canada, Lime Kiln Lighthouse was so named because of the lime quarry and kilns in the area. Completed in 1919, the lighthouse presides over 'Whale Watch Park' (officially Lime Kiln Point State Park) where the building is used as a whale research station."
