"Located in Westport, Washington, this octagonal
shaped lighthouse is locally known as the 'Westport Light'. It rises 107
feet to guide vessels by day and night. Since 1897 its fog signal, Fresnel
lens light, and more recently, radio beacon, serve to aid deep sea cargo
ships as well as commercial and sports fishermen."
