"Hawaii is truly 'paradise'. With sunshine and gentle breezes and warm temperatures, one could stay forever! While my husband and I were attending a kite-flyer's convention, we made time to visit the 'tourist' sites. This view from the top of Diamond Head was surely a highlight of our stay. Later in my home studio, I painted this scene with oil on canvas. The composition was a natural choice with strong diagonal lines off-setting the verticals of trees and tower." |

"Diamond Head Lighthouse" is a limited edition, giclée
print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson. The edition
includes 2050 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (2000 numbered
and 50 artist proofs). Originally the edition was released as photolithographs in March 1992 on 80 pound Curtis Brightwater Cover paper (neutral ph)
and discontinued in September 2009. The remainder of the edition was released in March 2011 as archival giclee prints in a variety of image sizes and substrates. All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board. Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.
