Artist comment:  "This is an outstandingly beautiful site in Trinidad, California. It sets serene and alone high above the ocean. I found it to be a fitting tribute to the men (and women) who were lost at sea over the many decades of the fishing industry here. The media of gouache seems to echo the soft tranquillity of the scene."

"Trinidad Head Memorial Light" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original gouache painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is March 2009.  Image size and substrates vary.  All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"Trinidad Head Memorial Light" ACEO

"Trinidad Head Memorial Light" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original gouache painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 2 1/2” X 3 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is March 2009. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
