Point Arena Lighthouse

"In solitude at the end of a narrow strip of dramatic California coastline, rises this 115 foot column. Built of reinforced concrete and lighted in 1908, it replaced the first tower demolished in the 1906 earthquake. An unusual round base adds to the distinction of the Point Arena Lighthouse, which can be seen from the coast highway for many miles."
