"TRLBY's Pretzel" by Carol Thompson
"My husband loves to fly his TRLBY kites with 100 foot tails. Here he created a ‘TRLBY’s pretzel’ over the ocean."
Artist comment: "I have painted TRLBY kites for many years and since they are no longer available, I really treasure ours. Trlbys were made to fly, and are easy and fun to manipulate into interesting configurations. Ed usually puts them through their paces while I photograph them (sometimes in his enthusiasm he will ditch them in the ocean, however). With the ocean as a background, I painted with oil on canvas, one of those memorable occasions. After creating a summer mood in sea and sky, I carefully painted the kites and tails. This stack is one of our ‘rainbow’ stacks." |

"TRLBYs Pretzel" is a limited edition, giclée
print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson. The edition
includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered
and 100 artist proofs). Release date is May 2011. Image size and substrates
vary. All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board. Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray. |
