Artist comment:  "These 'Monsters' are lighting up the sky at the edge of the sea. Against the cool grey clouds, they seem to glow. I was at a kite flying festival where these great kites were being flown. They are indeed 'monsters'. They are very large and powerful kites, and painting them was a joy."

"The Monsters" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is March 2009.  Image size and substrates vary.  All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

The Monsters ACEO

"The Monsters" ACEO

"The Monsters" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 3 1/2” X 2 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is March 2009. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
