"Attending a kite convention in Hawai'i was a thrill of a lifetime. Not only was the setting enchanting, but the unusual innovations by kite makers were worth the trip. This 'Revolution' was so extraordinary, I knew I had to paint it. It could be made to hover, fly straight up or straight down, and spin innumerable times before having to unwind. I painted the kite against the palm trees in the background to remind myself, (and others) of the wonderful times spent on the island of Oahu." |

"Revolution" is a limited edition, giclée
print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson. The edition
includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered
and 100 artist proofs). Release date is March 2009. Image size and substrates
vary.
All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board. Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"Revolution" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 3 1/2” X 2 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is March 2009. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints. This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
