"A stack of multi-colored Revolution kites swoops over festival goers at Lincoln City, Oregon."

Artist comment:  "My husband, Ed, and I fly Revolution quad-line kites, so I am always impressed when I see them, whether single or in stacks like these.  I painted this oil on canvas featuring the kites against a pale, slightly overcast sky.  I sketched the composition, adding the figure of a young girl for balance.  Then I painted the background first, the figures next, and finished with the detail of the kites, drawing in the kite lines last."

"Revolution Stack" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is April 2011.  Image size and substrates vary.  All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.
