Artist comment: "I love to paint kites! I am continually seeking unusual and innovative designs to portray with oil on canvas. When I saw this red octopus, it fit my criteria to a 'T'. I photographed it and later in my studio, I sketched it onto canvas. I started with a background sky, then when it was dry, I painted the octopus. Finally I drew in the kite lines."

"Red Octopus" is a limited edition, giclée
print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson. The edition
includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered
and 100 artist proofs). Release date is April 2011. Image size and substrates
vary.
All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board. Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.
