Artist comment:  "North of Newport, Oregon, my husband and I were flying kites when a gentleman put up his colorful display of small kites. They are appropriately called 'rainbow' kites. After researching and photographing the scene, I returned to my studio where I painted this remarkable memory with oil on canvas."

"Rainbows" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is February 2009.  Image size and substrates vary.  All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"Rainbows" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 2 1/2” X 3 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is March 2009. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.

 Color of images may vary slightly from the actual artwork due to variations in monitors, so if color is a critical factor, you can order a small three inch tall sample to verify color accuracy.
