Artist comment:  "Several years ago when this 'bow-tie' designed kite appeared in the sky, my husband and I knew we had to have one. We purchased it at a Seattle kite shop, and have had hundreds of happy hours flying this four-line thriller. Here, on the beach at Ocean Park, Washington, my husband, Ed, was putting it through it's paces, hovering, spinning, and soaring on the breeze. I took multiple photographs. Later in my studio, I painted the best of the action shots with oil paint on Windsor-Newton canvas. The mood of the sky is overcast but clearing. (I purchased a special tube of 'hot pink' oil paint to render the exact color of the kite)."

"Neos Omega" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is March 2011.  Image size and substrates vary. All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.
