Artist comment: "Some kites are so intrigueing that I can hardly wait to get home to paint them. This one is an oil on canvas of one of those from the international kite festival held in Long Beach, Washington. Though the painting is small (24" X 18"), the kite appears larger than life. I painted the sky in graduating shades of blue, then started with the yellows, working toward the oranges and reds, finishing with the small details on the kite." |

print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson. The edition
includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered
and 100 artist proofs). Release date is April 2011. Image size and substrates
vary.
All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board. Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray. |
