"It is a wonderful day at the beach. The clouds are moving away and a gentle breeze is perfect for flying sport kites."

 
Artist comment:  "There are two kites in the air at the same time. One is apparently being flown by someone outside of the picture. But, the position of them seems to indicate that they are having a game of 'tag'. I painted the scene as it was and the beautiful cloud patterns ad interest to the vertical canvas that was required to capture the activity."

"Catch Me If You Can" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is March 2009.  Image size and substrates vary.  All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"Catch Me If You Can" ACEO

"Catch Me If You Can" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 3 1/2” X 2 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is March 2009. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
