Artist comment: "My rose garden in Olympia, Washington was my pride and joy. Of all the roses, this one was the handsomist, most prolific, and longest lasting bloomer. It was disease and pest resistant. The color was vibrant. I had to paint it, and watercolor on Arches 140# hot-pressed watercolor paper was my choice. I washed in the background in yellows, blues, purple, and green, letting it dry before meticulously rendering the leaves, and finally the bud and blossom." |

print from an original watercolor painting by Carol Thompson. The edition
includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered
and 100 artist proofs). Release date is January 2001. Image size and substrates
vary.
All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.
Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray. |
