Artist comment:  "I grew roses in ny garden in Olympia. One of my favorites is this beautiful red rose. Not only was it lush and prolific, but exuded a fabulous fragrance that drifted on the slightest breeze. It was a natural to paint with watercolor as the delicate petals seem to be almost transparent amongst the green leaves."

"A Joy Forever" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original watercolor painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is February 2009.  Image size and substrates vary.   All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"A Joy Forever" ACEO

"A Joy Forever" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original watercolor painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 3 1/2” X 2 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is February 2009. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
