Artist comment:  "One of my all time favorites in my yard is the hardy 'happy' marigold.  They pop-up in early summer and seem to radiate sunshine from dawn to dark.  The bonus is the many seeds each one produces to start a whole new round of joy after the greyness of winter is gone.  It is then I remember the season when I see this miniature watercolor on Arches 140# hot pressed paper and I relish the memory."

"Red And Gold Marigolds" ACEO

"Red And Gold Marigolds" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original watercolor painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 2 1/2” X 3 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is December 2009. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
