| Artist comment:
"I had a wonderful garden in Olympia, Washington. Among the many flowers, I was fortunate to have a plethora of lupines in a variety of pastel colors and white. It was a challenge to paint these white spires. On 140# Arches hot-pressed watercolor paper, I lightly sketched the outline of the composition, then washed in an abstract background, leaving the subject and leaves unpainted. When it was dry, I began to layer the shadow areas of the flowers, paying close attention to the subtle hues. Then I completed the painting by painting the leaves." |

includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered
and 100 artist proofs). Release date is August 2002. Image size and substrates
vary.
All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.
Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"White Lupine" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original watercolor painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 3 1/2” X 2 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is January 2001. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints. This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
