Artist comment:  "White lilacs are beautiful in bouquets as well as covering the shrubs like 'snow'!  I sketched this stem of white lilacs on arches 140# hot-pressed watercolor paper with a minimum of detail in the body of the flowers.  The shape of the individual flowers was accomplished with shadings of pastel colors.  The background was washed on, in an abstract manner."

"White Lilac" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original watercolor painting by Carol Thompson.   The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is March 2010.   Image size and substrates vary. All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"White Lilac" ACEO

"White Lilac" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original watercolor painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 3 1/2” X 2 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is March 2010. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
