Artist comment: "'A picture is worth a thousand words' is an old adage. That being said, this watercolor painting on Arches 140 # hot pressed paper is a valuable sight indeed. I like painting flowers. It brings me back in memory to the joy of growing beautiful things. When preparing this rendering, I sketched in the subject, then washed in a non-objective background. I carfully modeled the leaves and buds, then articulated the full beautiful blooms." |

print from an original watercolor painting by Carol Thompson. The edition
includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered
and 100 artist proofs). Release date is November 1999. Image size and substrates
vary. All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.
Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray. |
