Artist comment:  "White foxgloves occur in the wild, along roadsides and clearings in the forests.  The seeds can be collected and planted in your home garden with pleasing results.  This is a watercolor on 140# hot-pressed paper.  In order to paint the shadows and subtle lighting on white blooms, I used various shades of blue, yellow, and magenta."

Image size and substrates vary.   All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"White Foxglove" ACEO

"White Foxglove" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” triptych giclée print from an original watercolor painting by Carol Thompson.   Image sizes are 3 1/2” X 2 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO).   Release date is January 2002. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks.  The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO triptych is signed by the artist, includes signed certificates of authenticity, and is packaged in plastic sleeves for protection.
