| Artist comment:
"Foxgloves, to me, speak warm summer days, going barefoot on dusty gravel country roads. Although they are gorgeous in bouquets, there is not need to pick them and bring them inside. They are so plentiful and long-lasting that everywhere you look you have a 'bouquet'. This painting is one of a trilogy of foxglove stems as I recall from my girlhood. Pink is the most common, so I began there. The piece is watercolor on 140# Arches hot-pressed paper. I washed the background in first, taking care to leave the subject untouched. Then I carefully detailed each blossom from top to bottom." |

All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.
Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"Pink Foxglove" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” triptych giclée print from an original watercolor painting by Carol Thompson. Image sizes are 3 1/2” X 2 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is December 2001. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.
