| Artist comment:
"In Washington State, and elsewhere I'm sure, there are numerous indigenous dogwood trees. Their Spring blossoms are a welcome sight after long, wet, grey winters. This small watercolor on Arches 140# hot-pressed watercolor paper started as an image for a T-shirt at the request of a client. I recently "rediscovered" the painting and decided to fill in the background and make limited editions from it. I chose to emphasize the softness of the blossoms by creating a strong dark corner, diffusing into sunlight yellow on the opposite corner. The result is the impression of morning, as the rising sun is about to shine upon the blooms." |

includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered
and 100 artist proofs). Release date is December 2001. Image size and substrates
vary.
All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.
Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"Dogwood" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original watercolor painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 2 1/2” X 3 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is December 2001. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints. This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
