"Two varieties of daffodils make a wonderful contrast in your Spring garden.  When they are white and ruffled, the combination can't be beaten!"

Artist comment:  "In my garden, I grow daffodils in a "naturalized" setting.  That is, randomly placed bulbs of differing colors and types anywhere, next to each other, clumped, or scattered.  The wilder the better!  This is a small watercolor on Arches 140# hot-pressed watercolor paper.  I chose to accent the three white spots with one dazzling ruffled yellow daffodil.  The blue green leaves compliment the warms of the background.  One bent over leaf in the lower left corner, leads your eye into the painting and completes a '''triangle" composition formed by the three major blooms.  The white bud in the upper left quadrant. creates a dynamic tension as it completes the flow of light when combined with the other two white flowers."
