"The early morning sunlight catches the tugboat ‘Liberty’ already on the way to it’s day’s duties.”
Artist comment: "Since 1976, ‘AMNAV Maritime Services’ has been providing marine and harbor services in the San Francisco Bay Area. Far from home, one of their tugs, the ‘Liberty’ was spotted near Astoria, Oregon. It is a beautiful sight with the Washington State headlands in the background. The ‘Liberty’ is a Class ‘A’ tug, almost 100’ long, producing 4000 horsepower to do it’s job. I chose pastel on Mi-Teintes paper to render this scene. This painting is a complement to my selection of ‘Astoria Waterfront Scenes’.” |

"Liberty" is a limited edition, giclée
print from an original pastel painting by Carol Thompson. The edition
includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered
and 100 artist proofs). Release date is September 2010. Image size and substrates
vary.
All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.
Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray. |
