Artist comment:  "This pastel painting began as a study in opposite colors.  My original intent was to paint everything in complementary colors, then overlay the 'realistic' tones.  I did the green shrubs but as I studied the artwork, I realized I really liked the whole opposite scheme, so I called it completed!  It is pastel on Canson Mi-Teintes grey toned paper."

"Derelict" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original pastel painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is August 2002.  Image size and substrates vary.   All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

Derelict ACEO

"Derelict" ACEO

"Derelict" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original pastel painting by Carol Thompson.   Image size is 2 1/2” X 3 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO).   Release date is August 2002. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks.  The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
