Artist comment:  "I spied this Nash Metropolitan resting in deep dried grass in front of an ageing structure. It seemed abandoned to be slowly consumed by rust. As I painted it, I could almost visualize the small car in its glory days. Perhaps a single adult (maybe a young couple) proudly drove it around town and 'out-and-about.' Maybe someone will rescue it and restore its former loveliness."

"Nash In The Grass" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original gouache painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is February 2009.  Image size and substrates vary.   All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"Nash In The Grass" ACEO

"Nash In The Grass" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original gouache painting by Carol Thompson.   Image size is 2 1/2” X 3 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO).   Release date is February 2009 . This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks.  The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
