"For me, this was a study in cool tones, that is, blue and green specifically. It has obviously been many years since this cement truck was called upon to work, and rust has been taking its toll on its painted exterior. The medium of gouache was ideal to portray the softness that time has patinaed the color." |

"Blue And Proud" is a limited edition, giclée
print from an original gouache painting by Carol Thompson. The edition
includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered
and 100 artist proofs). Release date is February 2009. Image size and substrates
vary.
All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity. Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.
Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"Blue And Proud" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original gouache painting by Carol Thompson. Image size is 2 1/2” X 3 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO). Release date is February 2009. This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks. The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints. This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
