"Throughout the long years, this little pickup truck has no doubt experienced many adventures. If it could talk, what kind of story would it tell?"

 
Artist comment:  "As the twilight descended on this totally rusted old pickup truck in a grassy field, I observed the blues that surrounded the warmth of the vehicle set in the coolness of the evening. I could imagine that in its day the truck bore witness to many travel adventures; perhaps it never left the vicinity of its farm; perhaps a trip on the open road of the great Northwest. I enjoyed the challenge of rendering this scene using gouache (with colored pencil accents to indicate the grasses)."

"A Story To Tell" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original gouache painting by Carol Thompson.  The edition includes 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs).  Release date is February 2009.  Image size and substrates vary.  All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and include a certificate of authenticity.   Paper prints are shrink wrapped on foam board.   Canvas prints are coated with a protective spray.

"A Story To Tell" ACEO

"A Story To Tell" is an “Art Cards, editions and originals (ACEO)” giclée print from an original gouache painting by Carol Thompson.   Image size is 2 1/2” X 3 1/2” (standard size for an ACEO).   Release date is February 2009 . This substrate is "Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Giclee Canvas", using Epson Ultrachrome K3 archival inks.  The canvas has been coated with PremierArt™ print shield, which seals and protects the artwork from moisture, UV light fade, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasion, and fingerprints.  This ACEO is signed by the artist, includes a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a plastic sleeve for protection.
